About this tour

Add Xel-ha to your Tulum Ruins tour! Visit both Tulum and Xel-ha natural water park in one day!

Tulum is an archaeological site that blends the historical and cultural Mayan legacy. Due to its amazing architecture and location on a cliff facing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Tulum is the third most visited pre-Hispanic site in Mexico.

Xel-Ha is nature as no one has ever felt it before. This natural freshwater lagoon connects to the ocean creating an amazing privilege ecosystem that offers wonderful snorkeling opportunities. Its natural wonder is an open-sea aquarium which offers a myriad of land and water activities, ecological attractions, world-class restaurants and countless more unimaginable experiences.

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Itinerary

  1. 7AM – 8:30AM: Pick-up at your hotel or resort’s front lobby (times may vary depending on your location). Pick-up times are scheduled one day before departure.
  2. Drive to Tulum Ruins (45mins to 1.5hrs depending on your location).
  3. 8AM – 9AM: Arrival at Tulum Ruins and restroom break.
  4. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the ruins for 1.5hrs to 2 hrs approximately, free time included.
  5. 10:30AM – 11:30PMArrival to Xel-ha Natural Water Park.
  6. 5PM – 6:30PM: Departure to Hotel (Pick-up time is arranged upon request at the moment of drop-off).

Blew Away Expectations

Our tour of Tulum with Heber4Ever and Alma’s LDS Tours was absolutely perfect in every way! The early start time was ideal — we completely beat the crowds and had the site almost to ourselves. Heber is incredibly knowledgeable about the Mayan people, their history, and the Tulum site itself. We especially appreciated how he thoughtfully highlighted perspectives from an LDS viewpoint without ever assuming or speculating beyond what evidence supports. That balance made the experience both spiritually enriching and historically grounded.
