About this tour

OVERVIEW:

The Ultimate Mayan Adventure in the Riviera Maya!

Explore Coba the Mayan ruins hidden deep in the tropical rainforest at the Riviera Maya, and ride through the ruins on bikes and enjoy incredible views from the top of monumental temples, learn about this fascinating culture and their connection with the Nephites and Lamanites from the Book of Mormon. Then, continue the adventure at Xplor Fuego - At sunset, Xplor Park becomes Xplor Fuego, where extreme night adventures will be waiting for you. Feel adrenaline while going through trails and caves illuminated by fire created especially for you!

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Itinerary

  1. 11:00 AM: Pick-up at your hotel or resort’s front lobby (times may vary depending on your location). Exact pick-up times are scheduled one day before departure.
  2. Drive to Coba Ruins (45mins to 1.5hrs depending on your location).
  3. 12 PM – 12:30 PM: Arrival to Coba and Buffet Lunch (All you can eat, Yucatecan Cuisine, one drink included)
  4. 1:30 PM: Entree to Coba ruins and tour commencment. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the ruins for 2hrs to 2.5 hrs approximately, free time included.
  5. 5-5:30 PM: Arrival at Xplor Park and entrance to the park.
  6. 11:00 PM: Return to Hotel. Meeting point and return time will be arranged before drop off at the park.

Mayan experience of a lifetime.

We did a 7-day custom Alma’s tour to Chichen-Itza, Mérida, Grand Mayan museum, Valladolid, Ek-Balam, Tulum, Coba, Becan, Bacalar, Calakmul, and Uxmal. It was marvelous! Our custom tour was hosted by our guide, Ricardo Job, a well-educated local Mayan from the area, whose ancestors go back many generations. He was engaging, informative, answered all of our questions thoughtfully and pointed us to scholarly sources. This was an incredible adventure — a must for serious travelers.
