About this tour

Join us on a tour of Tulum Mayan ruins and complete your experience visiting the Riviera Maya’s very own Mayan Cultural Center: Xcaret! Enjoy a full day of culture, music, and passion; and visit Tulum Mayan ruins and Xcaret Park!

First, visit Tulum with one of our expert LDS guides and see for yourself a genuine pre-Colombian Mayan city and learn about this fascinating culture and their religious practices as they demonstrated their deep devotion to the "Descending God."

After listening, see for yourself how these rituals and practices are performed by authentic Mayan descendants at the Xcaret Park.

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Itinerary

  1. 7AM – 8:00AM: Pick-up at your hotel or resort’s front lobby (times may vary depending on your location). Pick-up times are scheduled one day before departure.
  2. Drive to Tulum Ruins (45mins to 1.5hrs depending on your location).
  3. 8AM – 9AM: Arrival at Tulum Ruins and restroom break.
  4. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the ruins for 1.5hrs to 2 hrs approximately, free time included.
  5. 11AM – 12PM: We depart to Xcaret Park.
  6. 12:30PM – 1:00PMArrival at Xcaret and entrance to the park.
  7. 6PM-9PM: Return to Hotel. Meeting point and return time will be arranged before drop off at the park. Upon request, you may choose to depart at 6PM or 9PM.

Alma Tours is Great

We did two tours with Alma tours this week. The first tour was Tulum plus Xcaret. The second tour was Ek Balam plus Chichen Itza. They were both outstanding! Ricardo was our tour guide for both days. He has the perfect combination of knowledge, temperament, humor, flexibility, etc. The thing that I like the best about Ricardo is that he connected things at each site with books and history that are significant to us. He gave insights that I would never have considered.
