Instructions on How to get from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen: • Try to get off the cruise ship as quickly as possible, and always keep your group together to gain time. • Get a taxi cab or van for your group at the docking area. Ask the driver to go to the ferry terminal and cross to Playa del Carmen. It’s about 10 minutes away from docking area. • Buy a one-way ferry ticket. You’ll buy your return ticket at the completion of your tour; this is to make sure you’ll buy the correct return ticket for the ferry when you go back to Cozumel after your tour (as there are three different ferry operators). It’s only about 35 minutes to get across. • Three ferry companies are departing every hour in high season and more sporadically in low season. We have to plan and coordinate with the ferry times. NOTE: We have no control over the ferry schedules; it is our mutual responsibility to be aware of the ferry schedule. • You can bring your cell phone in case of an emergency if you need to contact us. Most cell phones from other countries work great with local roaming in Mexico. Meeting point is at Playa del Carmen, NOT at Cozumel Island. • Departure to Tulum Ruins (45 minute drive approximately). Enjoy a casual presentation by your Professional LDS tour guide throughout the ride. • Arrival at Tulum Ruins and restroom break. • 1.5hrs to 2hrs tour of the entire site by your professional LDS tour guide. Free time included. • Light lunch • Departure to Playa del Carmen Ferry Terminal for drop-off. • Safe return at least 1.5 hours before your cruise departure.
